Dean Ultimate Frisbee (DUF) is based in the Forest of Dean and welcomes newcomers, experienced players-young and old alike-to enjoy the unique sport of Ultimate Frisbee.

 

DUF was founded in October 2011 by Jon Powell who wanted to play Ultimate but couldn't find a club close enough. He created the Dean Ultimate Frisbee Facebook group to reach like-minded people. We now have a core group of around a dozen players (with regular drop-ins), from all around the local area, with players ranging from 11 to 50-something (we're not allowed to say what the something is!!!).

 

We are very lucky over the years to have had the help and coaching from ex Reading University captain James Rudge and in our very early days Devon University's Craig Redmond.

 

For those who aren't competetive there is no pressure to attend tournaments, but for those who are interested we try to compete a few times a year.
